Chromed Singer Featherweight Stitch Indicator Plate & Feed Reversing Handle

My husband and I have owned and restored over 1000 vintage Singer sewing machines (over 200 Featherweights), and along the way we have accumulated a stock of vintage Singer parts. The parts aren’t doing anyone any good sitting in our workshop, so we have decided to send them on to where they’re needed.
Most Featherweights have a black stitch length indicator plate with silver numbers; only the very oldest machines from the 1930s feature this chromed plate with its mirror finish. But switching the assembly is easy, so replacing a kind-of-plain black plate with a beautiful chromed one is a simple and inexpensive way to add a lot of sparkle to your Featherweight!
These little guys are difficult to photograph. Either the picture looks like you pointed your camera at the sun (photo three), or your fingers are reflected in it (photo two). Even the two little attachment screws are chromed!
These parts are
in lovely, near-perfect condition with just a few minor blemishes. They have been thoroughly cleaned to remove 85 years of gunk and goo from the threads, so they will be easy to operate.
These are genuine, 1930s Singer parts. (You may be able to make out “SIMANCO” in photo four, which stands for “SInger MANufacturing COmpany.”) We hope this assembly increases the joy you feel every time you use your Featherweight.
