Vintage Singer Bakelite Three-Prong Power Terminal ~ For Featherweight & Others

My husband and I have owned and restored over 1000 antique and vintage Singer sewing machines (over 200 Featherweights), and along the way we have accumulated a stock of vintage Singer parts. The parts aren’t doing anyone any good sitting in our workshop, so we have decided to send them on to where they’re needed.
This is the three-prong terminal that your Featherweight’s power cord plugs into. Made of Bakelite, this part grows brittle with age and is often broken. If you have seen more than two or three Featherweights you have probably seen one with a half-moon-shaped piece broken out of the bottom of this part.
In addition to the Featherweight, Singer used this power terminal on many other vintage machines, attached to a flat spot on the sewing motor bracket.
This vintage terminal is in excellent condition, has been cleaned and is ready to install. The small attachment screw shown in photos one and two is included.
