    South Eugene High School
    . The belt buckle measures approximately 2 3/4" x 1 1/4", and features
    purple
    enamel inlay
    (South Eugene's school colors are purple and white).
    I found this nifty buckle accompanied by its
    original price tag
    still attached by a purple thread! The buckle's reverse has the following engraving:
    "Pat. Appl'd For"
    (Patent Applied For). I was told by the person I acquired the belt buckle from that he believed it was from the 1930's-1940's period.
